The programme of QIRT’98 Seminar consists of oral and poster presentations of contributed and invited papers. Presentations are divided into two parallel sessions, in accordance with discussed topics. The language of the seminar is English, neither translation nor interpretation will be provided.

The time for oral presentations:

• for invited papers: 30 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for discussion,
• for regular papers: 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions.

Overhead and slide projectors will be available, as well as computer display that can be connected to a laptop PC computer. On request an IBM PC compatible computer with MS Power-Point will be provided. For any other tools needed for your presentation please contact organisers. (qirt98@ck-sg.p.lodz.pl)

Poster presentations

A posters room will be open and available to all participants during the whole Seminar. Although the poster session is prepared for Wednesday at 16³⁵ we recommend to put all poster contributions first day just after your coming. Authors presenting their papers at the poster sessions will have for their disposal a square panel of size 100x100 cm. Sticking materials will be provided by organisers

Lunches

Lunches will be served each day at the times shown in the programme in the University Canteen, close to the Seminar site, .3 Aleja Politechniki.

Conference banquet

The banquet will be organized in one of the hotels in the city center on Sept. 9^th at 19³⁰. The exact venue of the banquet will be provided by the organisers later.

Accompanying persons

A special sightseeing for accompanying persons tour in Łódź is being prepared on Sept. 8^th.
